Text: John 1:1-14

In the beginning was the Word.  That Word is Jesus, because the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.  That Word was also rejected by men, crucified, and died.  But the Word, Jesus, did that in order to bring us life.  Because the Word of Life IS life.  And that Word rose from the dead on the third day.  Faith, which comes through the hearing of the Word, given by the Holy Spirit, believes this.  And eternal life comes through faith, therefore the Word brings eternal life.
