The Peace Family
Please continue to pray for our loved ones:
My Dad, Eugene Kruk, is currently in Gimli Hospital. He has been panelled and we are waiting for a spot to open in Selkirk in the personal care home. We are moving my Mom into assisted living June 1 in the same building as the personal care home. So hopefully, it won’t be too long until they are together. My Dad’s dementia advanced very quickly. But, he has been having some very good days when we can visit and chat and even laugh a bit. He doesn’t know who we are exactly but he knows we are important to him and that is truly a gift, however temporary it may be. We have been carried through some very difficult days. We are grateful for everyone’s prayers and kind words. - Karen Netzel
Dianna is currently receiving low dosages of chemo in order to expand a blood vessel in the brain. Chemo treatment has been shown as a successful treatment for stroke patients. – Dieter & Marlene Klein
Doug’s brother continues to suffer the side effects of brain cancer. As time moves on they are decreasing his anti-seizure meds. When the seizures reoccur they will know the tumour continues to grow. My cousin Katherine Hoffman is still very ill. - Karen Pokrant
My brother Glenn Martin is recovering well from his surgery and his biopsy reports came back all negative. Thank you for your prayers. My mom, Benna, continues to do pretty well with some days that are not good days....but she will still say she's fine, she's fine. She has lots of family and friend support. And she is not worried about where she is going. My daughter Deanna was in a cycling accident when a vehicle ran into her. That was a week ago. She is experiencing some health issues (concussion and lots of bruising but no broken bones) as a result and has been unable to work. – Sandy Kolomic
Joey’s Aunty Cherie-Lynne has finished her treatments. Things sound positive. But that’s all I really know. Joey’s dad went to the hospital on Friday, May 5th because he was tachycardic. His heart rate got up to 220 BPM. They were able to get it down and they sent him home that day. But they are going to give him a monitor to see what is going on with his heart and likely refer him to a cardiac specialist. – Erica Minarik
My daughter, Heather Day, has been recently diagnosed with cancer. My daughter, Kathy Schmautz is experiencing bad migraines and we are praying that they stop. - Herb & Noreen Kern
Cliff Kolson was diagnosed with ALS back in 2014. This disease has taken away his physical strength to the point where he jokingly says his infant grandson is stronger than him. Cliff’s faith and good attitude remains as strong as ever.
Dorothy Stubel – will be having surgery on May 25th to remove some cancer cells.
Marlene Omichinski – has been recently diagnosed with cancer.
Kathy Wardekker is recovering from recent knee replacement surgery.
Debbie Voyer’s knee replacement surgery has been bumped up from November to June. She is very grateful.
Brian Wagner’s father, August, passed away suddenly from a heart attack. The funeral was on Monday.
Val Kolson’s Aunt Muriel, who had dementia passed away.
